Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

A person has been storing her stuff in my duplex, did not rent it, and now that I have asked her to get her stuff out because I have it rented, she has refused and said that I have to get a court order to get her to remove her belongings, and that will take 90 days. Since she never rented it and doesn't really have my permission to use the property what can I do to get the stuff out before the Real renter's want to move in?

You don't have to go to court. To comply with the law, you need to send and post Missouri's abandoned property letter and wait the prescribed time period.

Then, you can legally dispose of the personal property if it has not been claimed.
