what should i do? a person who i thought was my friend took my title to a trailer that i owned forged my name and sold it to someone and kept the money i have no clue who the trailer was sold to. what should i do?

File a police report; they will then follow up with your "friend" and get the details, etc. You can get a copy of the title from the appropriate State of Missouri agency when the person it was sold to goes to get a title in his/her name. This is a crime, report it to authorities.

True, this is a crime. But, you can also sue the person who took your title and sold your trailer for "conversion", and obtain a judgment against that person in civil court. Then, if necessary, you can collect upon that judgment by filing garnishments or executions. Depending upon the amount of money involved, you may be wise to consult with and hire an attorney.
