quit claim

In 2004 my husband signed a quit claim deed, although he is still on the mortgage. we have since gone back together, nees to get back on deed. what do we need to do? T here is a huge age gap, and if I was deceased he would end up paying my children for a house he paid for what to do?

If your husband signed a quitclaim deed to you, then apparently you own the property. You could sign a quitclaim deed to him and yourself so that his name would be back on the title to the property. I would be careful because most mortgages have a "due on sale" clause that allow the mortgage holder to hold the debtor in default if there is any transfer of legal ownership. I think that it would be a good idea for you to consult with an attorney.
