Can I use a quit-claim to return my timeshare to the original resort where it was purchased in 1999?

You may use a quit claim deed to offer transfer of the property. However, this may not extinguish your financial obligation to the lender. Therefore, you probably shouldl not transfer the property until you get a release from everyone.
