Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri
real estate
my sister put her house up for sale, the person buying it works for the real estate company selling it. for over a month now they have had appointments to get the paperwork signed and everytime the appointment gets cancelled by the buyer. she is now 3months behind on payments and it seems the buyers are purposely trying to get the house forclosed on by the bank, making it cheaper for them and leaving my sister with the difference to pay. what can she do??

Your sister needs to have an attorney review the sales contract and advise her of her legal rights. It may be possible to terminate the contract or sue the buyer for breach but it is impossible to tell without reading the contract. Have your sister consult with an attorney.
