Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri
I recently did a short sale on my home because it was about to go into foreclosure. I found a buyer, who inturn, found a second buyer for the home. I had not yet moved all of my personal property out of the home so both of the buyers and I agreed and set a date for me to come to the home and pick up my property. The date came and the buyer said he couldnt make it to the house that day so he would call me back and set up a different time. He never called, so I called him several times and left numerous messages. Finally, he called back weeks later and said that he sold my stuff because he wanted the money and he put my pictures outside. Did he have legal rights to do that, or can I sue him?

Depending upon the terms of the sale, you could the person who sold your belongings. You will need to prove up the loss, so hopefully you have some documentation or other evidence to prove what you had in the house.
Good luck
