Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

Trespassing

My neighbor has 3 children who are constantly using my driveway and front yard as a public park. I have spoken to the children, their parents and their landlord and asked them if they could make sure that their kids do not come through or be on my property. I dont think this has done any good. I happen to be a homeowner and they are renters. Is this a case involving trespassing? Also is my next step to contact the police department? Thank you.

Sadly, you may have to call the police to come and eal with the situation. Hopefully, they will be sympathetic to your situation. They will not arrest the kids or cite the parents, but they may talk to both groups. Your next option is to erect a fence.
