Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri
I own a vacation time share at Branson, Mo. The property has a deed to it and is paid for. Our yearly costs are primarily maint fees. I would like to know what happens to the property once we both pass away. I have one daughter and she would probably not be interested in it. I was told she automatically gets it along with any fees whether she wants it or not. I don't want to saddle her with any additional payments. Sometimes time shares can be difficult to get rid of.

Under Missouri probate law, your heirs could inherit your real priperty, including timeshares. Until they do, they would not be responsible for maintenance fees (but your probate estate might.)You can sell it before then. It is unlikely that a couole eould pass away at thr same time. The survivor of you two could sell t.
