What needs to be done to gift a vehicle?

In place of a sales contract or bill of sale you give the title and a "gift affidavit" to the person who is receiving the car. The Department of Revenue used to have a form , and I believe you can still pick one up for free at any driver's license bureau. If not, you can draft one yourself or have your attorney do it for you.
