Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri
29 yo son at age 17 in mva in mo. (Friend's car, not at fault but no insurance) Then, moved to Texas. Now many years after, told judgement against him, can't get his tx driver's license. Neither he or I as parent when it happened where served with any lawsuit. Plus can he be sued for what he did as a minor, when an adult. Looking to hire kc area attorney to resolve. Happened in Independence.

Once a person gets their license, at age 16, they can be sued for negligence involving the operation of a vehicle. But, you are correct that someone had to be served. If your Son was not served, either directly or by service upon a family member (in the family home) or by substitute service, then the court did not have jurisdiction to enter a judgment against him. If you wish to contact me via email or response here, (with your Son's full name and DOB) I can examine your Son's case and assist you or possibly refer you to someone who can.
Good luck
