Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri
My car was stolen
My car was stolen and totaled, I have already pressed charges on the person who stoled it, now the police refuse to give me my car back! They said it is still under investication what investication ! Is that legal

Perhaps it is not illegal for the police to hold your car as evidence in the investigation of a crime. You have not provided enough information to to tell you if everything is as it should be legally.
How long ago did this occur?
