Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri
Damage from Truck Tire
A tractor trailer blew a tire on the highway, then pulled over to the shoulder. I was the next vehicle through, running over the tire and causing sigificant damage to my vehicle. The accident happened at night, with the black tire lying on black asphalt. I was unable to change lanes or stop in time. Is the trucking company liable for my damage?

Re: Damage from Truck Tire
Yes, I believe that you would have a valid claim for property damage that should be paid by the insurer of the tractor-trailer.
