Re: driveing with suspended license

There is absolutely no doubt that you need to be represented by an attorney. If you plead guilty or are found guilty and receive the conviction, your driver's license will be revoked for at least one year and possibly more depending upon your record. Also, the statute requires you to do at least two days in jail upon a conviction, and many judges will give you substantially more jail time than the two days or fine you from $300 to $500 in addition to the two days in jail. You will have a very hard time finding liability insurance anywhere at any price if you take the conviction. I have handled many such cases, and in most of them I have been able to find a way to avoid the conviction for my client. If you are not already represented by legal counsel, you may call me for a free telphone consultation at 314-727-2822.
