Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri

Dwi charge

My husband unknown to me got pulled over driving other people home last night and he had had alcohol also. He says he got a Dwi and he needs to be able to drive to work. He has never done this before. We are worried- in debt and we dont have money for lawyer. He takes our son to school every morning because of my work schedule. I don't know what to do next.

Re: Dwi charge

DWI is a charge that the courts take very seriously. If your husband does not get a lawyer, he is probably looking at losing his license. If he does get a lawyer, he is probably going to be able to keep his license provided that he does not have significant prior convictions. Depending on where this DWI occurred, you can probably find a lawyer who will help you and let you pay accoriding to a low monthly payment plan. I help a lot of people in your situation by allowing for low monthly payments. It may also be possible to continue your husband's case until you all have the money to pay. Also, please note that your husband will have to pay court fines and costs in addition to attorneys fees. Please feel free to call or email if you have any additional questions.
