What happenes if I have a no insurance ticket for the first time

If you choose not to hire an attorney to seek a plea to a non moving violation, you will have points assessed, and your license might be suspended. Also, your future insurance premiums will go up for several years. You should at least make sure that you have insurance before your sentencing hearing.
