The number of tickets you receive does not determine how any particular offense is charged. However, in certain circumstances, the number of prior offenses or convictions can have a very serious effect. For instance, a person with two prior DWI convictions would definitely be looking at the possibility of being charged with a felony upon a third offense. In any event, you should have had any and all of the tickets you received handled by an attorney to be sure that you did not receive any convictions. It may not be too late for you to hire an attorney to represent you and avoid potential serious consequences. Good luck.
