Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri
what would be the penalty for a careless and imprudent traffic ticket with only one other ticket ten years ago?
1 Answer from Attorneys
It depends upon exactly what law you are charged with violating. From the description you provide we can not tell whether you are charged with violating a state statute, a county ordinance or a municipal ordinance. At the very least you would be facing a conviction on your record and points being assessed against your driving record by the Missouri Department of Revenue. Your insurance company would learn of these things one way or another at some time in the future and would probably raise your premiums as a result. In my opinion it would be vry much better for you to hire an attorney to help you with theis ticket and avoid all of these negative consequences. You will save more money than you spend in the long run. I might be able to help you with this one myself. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
