Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri
Radar speeding ticket
Do I have the right to ask to see the radar if a disagree w/ a speeding citation? I asked and was declined and I refused to sign the ticket, he wrote ''refusal'' on the ticket and gave to me.

Re: Radar speeding ticket
There is no absolute right to view a radar reading, as is popularly reported. However, the officer's refusal to show it to you can be used to discount his credibility if you take the case to trial. If you do not dispute that you were speeding, you may be better served by having an attorney get it amended.
