Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri

ticket fixes

I was issued a speeding ticket a couple of years ago and I had a lawyer here fix it. He charged me $300.00 and said he fixed it. I don't know but think he must have pled it to like defective exhaust or something maybe. What I want to know is what is on my driving record? And the reason is I am appying for a job driving for a company and on the application it ask if I had any traffic offenses in the last few years. And I don't know how to answer. I want to say no but they're going to check my driving record somehow and I don't want to be caught in a lie. So if a lawyer fixes a ticket is my record clean or flawed?

Re: ticket fixes

Your driving record is a matter of public record and you should be able to obtain a copy for yourself. Try going to a local driver's license bureau and asking them if there is a form you can fill out to get a copy of your driving record. They will probably charge you a few dollars. If this doesn't work, try calling the Department of Revenue in Jefferson City and finding out how to obtain the record on your own. Good luck.
