It is unfortunate that the officer issuing the ticket did not have any compassion for someone who's medical condition makes it necessary to protect himself from sunlight, and I would hope that the prosecutor and or the Judge would be different. You may not have a complete defense to the charge(s) against your son. But, if you have medical evidence to verify your condition and you bring it to court, your attorney may persuade the prosecutor and the judge to allow aplea to a lesser violation.
