Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri
I WAS TRAVELING THROUGH KANSAS GOT A SPEEDING TICKET IN KANSAS FOR 75 IN A 65 aS I HAVE A TEXAS DRIVERS LISCENCE WILL THIS SHOW UP ON MY TEXAS DRIVING RECORD & INSURANCE
1 Answer from Attorneys
When you renew our buy new insurance, the ticket will be found, if not addressed. If you don't take care of it, your privilege to drive in Kansas will be suspended, You may also get a bench warrant. When you attempt to transfer your license from Texas to Missouri (assuming you live there now) the failure to appear bench warrant might cause a roadblock.
I am not admitted to practice in Texas, so I can't tell you what they will do with a report of suspension from Kansas. They might suspend or not allow you to renew your Texas license. They won't likely do anything about you just getting a speeding ticket in Kansas, if it doesn't go to warrant, or your KS driving privileges are not suspended. If you would like representation in dealing with this ticket, you may contact via email.
Good luck
