Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri
I was in a wreck, and I got a ticket for failure to yield a stop sign. If I go onto SIS, and attend driving school, would that keep my insurance rates from going up? If not, what all does going on SIS do?

If the accident was deemed to be your fault, and there had been a claim for damages, your rates will go up. Having the ticket amended might lessen the rise, but won't prevent them going up. SIS means that you won't have a sentence imposed, if you meet the conditions or your probation. Your attorney can explain things further.
