My 41 year old brother is very mentally ill. He has stalked and hurt others, threatened people and physically, mentally and sexually abused me in the past. Recently he has threatened to kill me, what can i do to make him an award of the state. At this point I have filed an exparte' and my parents are in complete denial of his needing help. I cannot become his legal guardian as I am terrified of him and dont want to be around him. He needs to be institutionalized desparately before soemone ends up hurt or worse dead

You can call the Public Administrator or the Probate Court in the Missouri county where your brother lives. They may investigate to see if they want to initiate a Petition to have a guardainship established for your brother.
