What happens to the assets of a man and wife if one is convicted of a crime?

Normally nothing happens to your assets when one spouse is convicted of a crime. However, there are certain offenses which might involve the civil forfeiture of certain assets. If there is any ongoing prosecution, you need to consult with an attorney.
