Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

Beneficiary

My son was beneficiary on all of his father's insurance papers.Right now all he is getting is social security and his father has been dead for 2 years.He worked as a Boilermaker since out of High School and was 45 when he passed away. He had to of had a Pension through them. He wasn't notified of the reading of the Will or anything like that. I believe that my sons grandparents are keeping alot of things from him. Is there any way I can find out what I can do?

Did anyone ever contact the insurance company with which your son's father had a life insurance policy? Do you have a copy of the will? Has the will been through probate? Did anyone talk to your son's father's former employer to inquire about his pension after his death? There are many questions that need to be answered in order to determine what can now be done. If you are not sure what to do, I highly recommend that you talk with a knowledgable attorney, who can assist you in determining your son's options and what he may or may not have been entitled to under the will, if one existed.
