Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

When I die I want to leave everything (which isn't much) to my close friend. I have put his name on my checking account and safe deposit box, but how do I leave him my truck, camper and personal items (guns, furniture, etc) without having to go to probate court? I have a brother and nephew, but they don't need anything, so I want my friend to have my stuff. I live in Missouri. What would you suggest? Should I do a trust even though I really don't have much?
