Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

Disclosure of Bank Records: Before our mother died my sister with power of attorney created a new joint ownership account with our mother and transferred our mother's bank balance into it. My sister says that she used the money to pay our mother's expenses. I want the probate court to require my sister to provide bank records of the joint account which she now claims by survivorship showing how she used the money. As co-executor would I would be requesting the court to force the other co-executor, my sister, to furnish the bank records. How would the probate court likely view such a request?

If you state the reasons clearly, then the probate judge may order an accounting. But, to do that, they may termiante both of you and appoint a new personal representative.

Good luck
