Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

My father passed away and his name is the only name on his truck. Is there a way my mother can sell it with a death certificate? They were married 32 years.

I am sorry to hear that your father has passed ]. You have my condolences. Your mother may be able to do a Small Estate, if your father passed within the last year. If it has been longer than 365 days, she may be able to Do a Petition to Determine Heirship. Unlike most probate actions, these are two that the clerks of her county probate court can assist her with.
