my fathers assets
My father passed away onDec.24,2008 & he was in a nursing home.He has no will &was a teamster with a 401k pension.Do I have access to this being his only child?And how do I do this?Is this something a probate lawyer can find?Can my half sister take this?

If you half sister was your father's daughter, he did not die with only one child. You would be wise to employ a probate attorney to settle this estate. The question you have asked, require more information than you can provide here. Contact yoru half sister (if she was you father's child) and see if she will hire an attorney with you. Good Luck
