Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

My grandmother recently passed away. My mother, who has had a stroke, wants to know if she is in her mother's will, or if she is listed as a beneficiary to a pension or life insurance policy, but my grand mother's husband will not tell her. How do I find out if she is listed on anything?

There is a statute that allows someone to file a suit to obtain a court order for the production of a Will. If the person who has possession of the Will has not already filed it with the Probate Court, and refuses to do so, then it may be necessary to file such a suit.
