Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

land in illinois

My dad had land in alexander county,Illinois but it was in his moms name and this would have been a long time ago maybe 1940 -1950s and he been keeping taxes paid up on it till he passed on in 1995 now my sister has it and yet paying taxes on it in my dads mothers name so what can i do to get this in my name because sister wanting me to take the land back over we are only talking about 2 acers so don't wantr to spend a lot of money on land that now worth that much..
