What is the legal age in the state of Missouri that one can receive an inheritance? More specifically, the age that one can receive an inheritance directly without any guardian or parent involvement.

An 18 year old may legally receive an inheritance outright. A probate judge or a trustee of a trust, however, has the authority to impose a constructive trust on the inheritance under the Transfers to Minors Law until the beneficiary is age 21.
