Need To Locate Attorney Who Drafted Father's Will

I need to locate the attorney who drafted my father's will within the last 3-4 years. The attorney would have practiced within a 50 mile radius of where my father resided. This attorney may have the only true copy of the will. I have requested that the Missouri Bar send out a member wide email with this question posted. Can I do anything else to find this attorney?

look through his canceled checks, the attorney must have been paid.

Contact the local bar association where the attorney would have practiced. However, the Missouri bar will have a list of all licensed attorneys and their addresses. Look at their web site (www.mobar.org) or contact the bar for retired or deceased attorneys. You may want to contact some attorneys in the area and look for an older secretary who may recall.
