IF you die without a will, who is entitled to your estate (spouse, offspring, etc)?

A statute sets forth the specific order of descent and distribution of assets left by a decedent without a Will. Generally speaking, surviving heirs would be any surviving children, and if there are none, then surviving parents, and if there are none, then surviving siblings, and so forth. If you are involved in anything of this sort, I would strongly advise you to consult with an attorney.
