Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri
MO man dies and has no wife or living children. He has one brother and did not want him or his family to get anything. He had a friend who was to make some charitble contrubutions with his estate and the rest was to be for the friend. No will this was all verbal.

Under the facts you described, the decedent's estate would go first to any heretofore unknown children (or their suviving decendents), or his creditors. Next to either of the dedent's surviving parents. or to his surviving brother. The friend would get nothing.
