Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri
My mother was an emplyee of a major manufacturing company in Missouri. According to the Profit Sharing Trust and Employee Stock Ownership Plan Department, I need a copy of her trust, which I am sure she did not have. I am an only child and she was unmarried, and her employer cannot move forward with the transfer of ownership until I provide a copy of her trust indicating a trustee etc.

I am a little confused. I assume your mother has died, is that correct? Are you sure your mother did not have a copy of her trust, or that she did not have a trust? If the former, perhaps the attorney who drafted it has one. If the latter, simply tell them that she didn't have a trust. Am I missing something?
