Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

mother might have to be put in a nursing home. Will we have to lose her house to pay for it? And if I have been on a joint account with her, will they be able to take half of the money or all of the money?

Very complex laws govern the availability of medicaid, what assets can be owned, given away, etc. Seek the advice of a qualified medicaid attorney as soon as possible. Planning in advance of the need for a nursing home is critical.
