Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

What do I need to obtain my son's money from his savings accounts. He died in 11/2010. I have account numer, death certificate and ss number.

My condolences for your loss. You may need to file a Petition to Determine Heirship with the probate court in the county where your son lived, or where the bank is. That is if the bank will not allow you to retrieve the funds with the documents you now have. If they won't, you may need to hire an attorney to draft the Pro Se Petition for you. Or, you may opt to spend more money and have them represent your interests to the court.
