father died 1988 step mother died 1995 father has total of six children 4 by first wife 2 by second wife property still in father & step mothers name. do the first 4 children have rights to property. property org. purchased by father and first wife

Your question does not state whether there is a Will involved or not. If so, the terms of the will would presumably control unless there was a legal basis for contesting the Will. If not, and if the real estate was owned by father and step-mother as joint tenants, or tenants by the entireties, then presumably the property was owned soley by the step-mother upon the death of the father. If this is true, then in most cases only the natural children of the step-mother would stand to inherit. I may be able to give you a more specific response with more information.
