Property owned by a husband and wife

If all property is owned by a husband and wife jointly and the husband dies, can his children from a previous marriage sue for a portion of the estate if there is not a will?

No, his children have no claim. The surviving wife owns whatever property was titled jointly as of the moment the husband dies.
