Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri
help me with questions
long story short
my grandparents-millionaires
great uncle -millionaire
my father dies in 1994
he had one sister
she was left all the money that came from my grandparents and uncles estates. Can I find out where the wills were filed and if i have been left anything from the 3 of them that have passed? also am I entitled to my dads part which would have been half of those estates? I am the only child of my fathers and my fathers sister is the only child to get all the inheritance- any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

If there were Wills probated then you could ask the Probate Court Clerk in the county where each person died to provide you with a copy of the Will for that person. You my want to hire an attorney to review the Wills and advise you whether or not you have any type of claim whatsoever. It is possible that your father's inheritance abated upon his death and everything went to his sister, but we would need to see all of the Wills to determine what your rights might be.
