Remarried, depressed and lonely

Father is widower of 2 years, remarrying lady 27 years his junior. Currently has 5 children and thinks prenup will protect his assests to his children. She has 1 child and is marrying him for his money. Is there any protection we can get for him both financial and medical? Help....wedding set very soon and no one knew....

If your father also shares your concern about protecting his estate for his five children then he can execute, along with a prenup, a will or trust to insure his assets go to his children. A durable health care power of attorney can also authorize one of the five children to make medical decisions on his behalf if he is unable to do so.
