If someone remarries & has a will with the ex-spouse, is that will still in effect?

The best answer that one can give, with the limted facts you provided, is maybe. If the will just says to spouse, the new spouse p;robably gets it. If the will was a contract between the person and their previous spouse, it is murkier. If yoiu or aloved one is concerned, go see an estate planning or probate attorney very soon. Take the will and a copy of any divorce decree. Let that attor ney give you or them useful advice based upon the facts of the particular situation.
