Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

Do I have rights as a stepdaughter

My mom died in nov 2004 and stepfather died feb 3 2006. He has no children, just 2 sisters. They have already taken over everything. Mom & stepdad owned a truck, house and 3 acres jointly. This property was appraised at 200,000. It was joined with his parents(whom are deceased)property which was for sale altogether for 650000. They were to get their 200 plus 3rd of the other. The sisters sold the whole kaboodle over the weekend after my stepdad passed. Without a death certificate. Will me and my brother have any rights to any money or contents from my mon & stepdads portion of property. My mom & stepdad told me 2 years before my mom passed that a will was made leaving all of their property to my 9yr old autistic son. We don't know where the will is possibly in safe deposit box in Cass County mo. Or who their lawyer was. How can we find out about a possible will. If we are not entitled to anything is it possible for us somehow to get my moms personal things such as photos personal items and furniture that she had before she married my stepdad. the sisters are already trying to get into the safe deposit box.

If you believe there may be a Will in the safe deposit box, you could request a Will search be made by the bank holding the box. If this was a will or wills made by your mother and stepfather, was it or hers used in her estate?
