Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

trust fund records

My parents died, my brother was executor of the will or whatever it is called and he ''said'' that everything was split in half. I have never seen ANY documentation. My daughters just told me that my mother told them before she died that she left them money - How do I find out - without asking my brother?

Re: trust fund records

You can go to the courthouse, find the Probate Court and ask the clerk to see the file on each of your parent's estates. Then you can see what was listed (the inventory) and what was done with it (if anything). Or, you could hire an attorney to assist, and possibly represent, you. Good luck.
