Re: will computer software

Valid Wills need to be filed with the Probate Court upon the death of the testator, and may or may not have to go through Probate. Whether or not you have a valid Will would require an attorney to review the document you have. There are numerous forms and software programs available that lead people to believe that they do not have to pay an attorney to draft a Will, and leave the people with virtually worthless pieces of paper just when they need to have a valid Will and it is too late to do anything about it. Please do not trust somehting this important to some software. Consult with an attorney. If you do not already have an attorney, you may call me for a consultation.
