Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

when is a will read after a death and how are the people in the will if not livi

I just found out in May of 2001 that my aunt (mothers sister) who's will my brother sister and I were supposed to been ''in'' had died in Feburary 2001. Neither of the 3 of of were notified as well as a couple of cousins.

I have since found out that this will is being contested and still in probate.

Question is, ''when is the will to be read and who and how is to be notified?''

I would suggest that you contact the court clerk in the Probate court in the county where the decedent resided and ask for a copy of the Will. If it is in fact in probate, it is a public record. If you are not already represented by legal counsel you may call me for a free telephone consultation at 314-727-2822.
