Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

the wording in a will

written in a will-there will be an equal division of estate, one half to only living brother, and the other half to be divided among 14 other people and organizations. The will then goes on to appoint specific dollar amounts to these other 14. since written, the estate has grown by at least 5 times, will the other 14 be able to have there share increased because of the increase of the estate or will they recieve only the specific dollar amount? We are confused as to why there is a specific amount mentioned only for the 14 and not for the Brother. Thank you for any help you can give.

Re: the wording in a will

In order for an attorney to provide competent legal advice regarding the language in a Will, the attorney would have to read the Will itself. If you do not already have an attorney I would be happy to offer you a free telephone consultation. Please feel free to call me at 314-727-2822. It may be possible for you to fax me the will for my review and opinion. I would charge a modest fee based upon the amount of time I spend on your question. Thank you.
