Legal Question in Workers Comp in Missouri
On February 2, 2010 I fell in the employers parking lot on black ice on my way into the building to go to work. I reported it to the person in charge of our insurance and workers comp and was told it was not necessary to fill out a report. I am having a lot of trouble with my knee and my doctor is sending me for a MRI on my knee. My question is since this happened before I clocked in and wasn't technically on the job, is this a work comp claim or is my employer responsible at all for not cleaning the ice off the parking lot?

If the parking lot belongs to the employer, and it was where you are expected to park, then this may be covered by wrokman's comp. However, since we waited so long, yu may not be able to recover. You need to consult directly with a work comp attorney in your area very soon. They will look at yrou medical reprots, ask you follow-up questions, and hopefully tell you that you still have viable claim
Good luck
