Legal Question in Workers Comp in Missouri
I have sustained an injury on my shoulder and elbow from over use at my job. I filed workmans comp. I have seen their doctor, i am in PT. However, the pain is excruciating. I am on light duty. The pain is not easing up on either area. I saw my own doctor. He did an xry then an MRI. I have 2 tears in my rotary cuff. My wrkcomp doc has not given me an xray of the elbow. After PT ystrday I am in worse pain than ever. Should I go back to my doctor for another xray? Its obviously clear , the wrkmns doctor is not looking for a reason for this pain. He's said cleary its muscular. As he said about my shoulder. What should I do?
1 Answer from Attorneys
There is no doubt whatsoever that you should consult with an attorney who regulary represents people in worker's compensation matters. Most such attorneys will offer you a free initial consultation to determine whether you have a claim that is worth pursuing. If so, the attorney will offer to represent you under a contingency fee contract which means that you do not have to pay the attorney any fees out of your own pocket. The attorney will collect his fee (25%) out of any final recovery made on your behalf. In the meantime, the attorney can help assure your recieving proper medical treatment. I happen to know one of the very best worker's compensation attorneys in the state, and I would be happy to help you set up a meeting with him. Please feel free to contact me.
